THE WORK MACHINE & COST -
We use a set procedure, which is dry, totally chemical-free and is performed on site. It is designed not only to effectively remove dust mites and their droppings, but also sterilise the mattress, kill the germs and bacteria, and also to prevent the dust mites breeding again for about three months.
A powerful, specially engineered portable cleaning device, generates incredible suction and high frequency pulsating waves remove all microscopic and fungal spores. The debris is collected in a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter bag, which retains 99.97% of anything 0.25 microns or bigger.
We then use a Portable Sterilizer Ultraviolet light! This ultra powerful light with a high output 254 nm Mercury tube and high polish reflector makes this light the brightest hand held light of its kind available on the market. Its unique electronic controls and timer produces more germicidal light than from conventional fixture ballasts.
The germicidal effect is in the UV-C spectrum, that deactivates the DNA. Bacteria, viruses and other pathogens are destroyed and their ability to multiply and cause disease. Specifically, UV-C light causes damage to the nucleic acid of microorganisms by forming covalent bonds between certain adjacent bases in the DNA. The formation of such bonds prevent the DNA from being unzipped for replication, and the organism is unable to reproduce. In fact, when the organism tries to replicate, it dies.
Sometimes we use a chemical-free deodorising and sanitising spray that helps to prevent the dust mites from reproducing rapidly instead of UV-C light depending on the severity of the contamination. The process is all performed on site. It is relatively quick and lasts up to three months.
